MyUnisa Blog
- Use of the Blog Instructions
- To get started, simply follow these steps:
- Go to the Blogs section of the tool.
- To begin your blog, go to the top of the page and click the ‘Add blog entry’ option.
- Make a title for your blog post.
- Something along the lines of “My language story” may be used. This is simply a hypothetical title.
- Your name will appear next to this blog article by default.
- Then, in the provided text box, write your reflection.
- You are then asked to “select who can see this entry” after the text box.
- The blog’s default setting is set to “This entry is publicly available.”
- This should not be changed because it is the only way for the lecturer to read your reflection and award you participation credit.
- If you are not yet completed, click Save Draft, but no one else will be able to see your blog until you click ‘Publish entry.’
- You can leave a comment on someone else’s blog by clicking the leave a comment link at the bottom of the page.

[Note: if you save a draft when you’re ready to publish, you’ll have to click on the “This entry is publicly viewable” button.]
Using the editing buttons, you may add links, bullets, lists, and colour, among other things. You may also go back and delete or edit your blogs at any time. When we ask you to use the blog again, you just click on ‘Add blog entry’ and create a new blog that will display under your name. When you’ve finished reflecting, go to the bottom of the screen and click the ‘Publish entry’ button. You can click on ‘Save Draft’ if you aren’t quite completed, but no one else will be able to view your blog until you click on ‘Publish…’
