Although Unisa offers an open application policy, students should always check to see if the credentials they want to pursue are not overcrowded for that semester or year.

Most certifications are now filled for the academic year 2023. Only open qualifications are available for applicants to apply for. These credentials may be found in the application tool.

In June 2023, offers for semester 2 will be announced. The following factors will be considered when making offers: whether you fulfil the academic admission standards for your chosen qualification, your minimum points score, and the number of spaces available for the degree for which you applied.

Anyone interested in beginning a new qualification must apply for admission. This includes Unisa applicants who are applying for the first time.

During the authorized application time, all admissions applications must be submitted electronically.

Applicants who want to enrol in programs at a Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college under the Unisa-TVET agreement can do so through the TVET college or through Unisa’s online or self-help alternatives.

You can contact the Central Applications Clearing House (CACH) at DHED if you were not offered a spot at Unisa.
